Tamara Yousry

Tamara Yousry is a global citizen with Anglo-Egyptian roots. She has lived in Egypt, Kuwait, England, Scotland, Norway, Singapore, and now calls Australia home.

A lifelong traveller and writer with an ever-inquiring mindset, Tamara has contributed numerous articles to publications in Egypt. She is the author of Countering Culture Shock: An Intercultural Training Programme Tailored for Egyptians, a self-published book based on her MA thesis in Intercultural Communication. She also contributed a chapter titled Crossing the Deep Cultural Divide to the collective essay collection How to Raise Confident Multicultural Children. Both are available on Amazon.

Her latest work, My Patchwork Life, is an intercultural love story about a woman who crosses oceans in search of love, only to discover that true love is an inside job.

Tamara is also a mother, teacher, musician, guitarist, singer, and gym enthusiast.

Her dream has always been to publish a book, or two.
