Originally from New England, Lucas Gerard Freeman is a sucker for crisp autumn mornings, Irish coffee, and a good question no one’s supposed to ask. An author of dark epic fantasy, Lucas holds a B.F.A. in Creative Writing and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maine. In 2020, he released Book & Bone, a YA science-fantasy novel he wrote in college, but now focuses on his current project, Where Demons Pray and Angels Lie, and its sequels. Lucas is also an international Scrabble expert who represented the U.S. at the 2016 World Scrabble Championship in Lille, France. He and his wife, Meagan, live outside of Nashville.
