Coach K

Born in Guyana to immigrant parents, Karen Ann Vinh, now Flynn, aka Coach K, was raised in a West Indian environment; a culture of harsh truths, no-nonsense parenting, and brutish competition at all levels - from the playground to the classroom.

Recognizing her strength as a young woman to look at situations from an impartial viewpoint and the ability to be straightforward and honest, Coach K has used this throughout her life and in coaching executives and entrepreneurs today.

After a successful career in branding and communication for over 20 years in Asia, she trained as a coach with CTI in the UK. Following her transition from agency owner to executive coach and personal journey from Asia to the UK to Vancouver, Canada – Coach K now works with clients globally.

Go Beyond Resilience was written to share her experiences – failures and successes, to help others embrace vulnerability, and to be bold in making choices, even when it upsets family & friends.

An advocate for living a fulfilling life, she provides coaching and mentorship for clients internationally, including entrepreneurs and immigrant professionals throughout businesses in the USA.
