Linda Etchison

Linda Etchison is a devout Catholic and a retired English teacher and school librarian. In addition to her work in the public schools, she was a homeschooling mother for 18 years and a religious education catechist for 31 years. Having a Bachelor of Science in Education, she has been involved in the education of children for the past 43 years. She is a native of Southern Illinois. She began writing the Sister Aloysius series after the death of her Father, Aloysius John Winka, as a tribute to him, a lifelong, devout Catholic who found great joy in studying his Catholic faith and sharing it with others.
