At a Moment’s Notice: A Witness to Murder
Author Biography:
Born in Long Island, NY, 1954, Carole Alexander was the youngest child of Solveig and James Alexander. Her life was about to change in unimaginable ways, affecting her for many decades.
In 1957 a devastating event occurred that turned the family upside down. This book was written to chronicle that event and how the changes to family life were felt by all members.
Carole missed out on her childhood as she was expected to grow up quickly and had many restrictions. Shortly after marriage in 1975 Carole moved to Florida with her spouse; her desire was to escape the family burdens and difficult relationships.
The marriage didn’t last and Carole’s life had many twists and turns, but she enjoyed plenty of adventure amidst several years of difficulty.
In 1994 Solveig’s health was beginning to show signs of deterioration and she decided to return to NY so she could assist her aging mother. The many infirmities that Solveig experienced during the next 20 years prompted Carole to write her first book: “There’s No One Like Mom: Tips, Tools and Strategies for At-Home Care.” Available today at amazon.com, this book is a healthcare guide and resource with personal and amusing stories interspersed throughout.
Carole also had a burning desire to write a book about the events that shaped her life and caused many hardships, hence “At a Moment’s Notice: A Witness to Murder” was written based on her perspectives and is also available at Amazon.com.
Carole Alexander has retired and relocated to her choice of paradise,
where she enjoys a stress-free life in Ecuador, South America.
