Lawrence McCaskill

Lawrence McCaskill Jr. was born December 15, 1998 to African American parents in Youngstown, Ohio. With interests in writing and computer sciences, Lawrence wrote his first book "Animus" and had it published on Wattpad during his tenure at Chaney Highschool in the STEM field where he graduated in 2017. Animus had over 150 reads by late august of 2017 and, before its rewriting, was going to be submitted to the Watty's two months after. Lawrence was also enrolled in Youngstown State University pursuing a BSAS in Computer Science but dropped out and began researching a career in writing. Apart from being an author, Lawrence has a blog titled "We Can Be Alright". Lawrence admires other authors such as Veronica Roth, Rick Riordan, Claudia Grey, and Jeff Kenny and looks to their words for guidance in immersing an audience.
