M. P. Conn

Maria Pilar Conn was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1968, she has worked in various jobs as an interior designer, secretary, receptionist, and was the owner of Cardinal American Bakery in Cabo de Palos, Spain. She finished her high school education at Los Gatos High in California, where she lived for six years. She moved to Spain two months later and continued her studies in Escuela de Artes y Oficios in Murcia, where her love of illustration, technical drawing, and painting begins.

Maria Pilar writes gothic fiction under M.P. Conn and poetry under her full name.

She is based in the sleepy fishing village of Cabo de Palos, Murcia, with her partner. She enjoys walking in the late afternoons, painting in her studio, and reading.
