Janet K. Johnson

Janet Johnson is a pastor, mentor in spiritual formation, author, freelance writer, and speaker whose passion is helping others draw closer to God in all of life’s situations. She finds joy in the ordinary things of life and knows it is God’s love that has sustained her on her life’s journey. Janet holds a BA, MSW, and MDiv degrees in addition to the completion of the Academy of Spiritual Formation, the Pastors of Excellence Program, the Methodist School of Supernatural Ministry, and is a member of She Writes for Him and Serious Writer. She worked as a medical social worker, a home-school coordinator and a teacher before God called her into full-time ministry in 1996. Now retired, he and her husband Richard live in North Carolina and have four grown children and several grand and great-grandchildren. In addition to writing, she enjoys sewing, cooking, and playing with her grandchildren who remind her how precious each moment can be.
