Jane Esam

Jane Esam is an independent author. She lives in Norway but grew up in Bamenda, Cameroon.

After graduating with a PhD in Molecular Medicine, she embarked on a career outside the research environment, whilst pondering on different ways that she could enhance the experience of African children, especially those living outside the continent. She started to write stories based on her own childhood experiences.

She is passionate about learning and giving education, especially for the girl child with a particular focus on the African girl.

When she is not working as a scientist, she is writing, chasing the children or singing in a local choir.
