Nohra Bernal

Nohra is a Colombian-born children's picture book author, freelance translator, and Mellon Foundation Grantee whose work celebrates literacy, poetry, and community. Her books have been recognized with the Skipping Stones Award for The Child and the Tree, and honorable mentions by ILBA for Alma Semilla and Campoy-Ada for Rimas Geométricas. Her husband, a musician and illustrator, is her creative partner.
