R H Kohno

R. H. Kohno aka Robert H. Kono was born in 1932 in Los Angeles. He was caught in the mass evacuation of Japanese and Japanese Americans in 1942 and placed in a number of concentration camps, the last one being Crystal City, Texas from which he repatriated to war-torn defeated Japan as a lookalike American outsider. He managed to return to America in 1959 and entered a period of his life which included marriage, completing his college education, raising a family and teaching briefly at the university level. Other than the first novel written during his college days, he began writing in earnest when he was sixty-nine and has produced six works of published fiction, including a collection of short stories. His most recent works include Eye of the Star and The StarMind Alert, both psychic thrillers written under his pen name, R. H. Kohno. He is currently working on a novel and a collection of short stories. His website if rhkohno.com.
