Brian C Chatton

Veteran keyboardist and performer Brian C. Chatton — whose 50 plus year career encompasses all incarnations of the so-called “British Invasion” which helped to shape modern popular music — has led a storied life, far different from that of his humble beginnings in Northern England’s Lancashire province.

Chatton is a gifted showman who has garnered the respect of the many music industry giants he has worked with over the years from the time of his first professional gig at the original Cavern Club in 1965. They include Phil Collins, Meat Loaf, Justin Timberlake, The Hollies, Alan Parsons, John Miles and Jon Anderson. His hit record, “I Wanna Be a Cowboy” — a collaboration with Nick Richards and the members of their band Boys Don’t Cry — sold over one million copies worldwide and is still featured in movies, advertisements and other venues over 30 years since its initial success. It also earned them a Gold record.

Since immigrating to the US in the 1990s, Chatton has participated in a variety of professional experiences, including an appearance playing piano with B.B. King on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

He is the father of two equally talented daughters who have followed his footsteps into the arts respectively, and of whom he is extremely proud. Emily Chatton is a much sought after fine artist in New York City, whilst older sister Charlotte Chatton Adler has been a successful actress and screenwriter in Hollywood for over 20 years.
