Mark Craemer is a leadership coach and organization development consultant. His company Craemer Consulting focuses on improving workplace communication and developing leaders in organizations both large and small. Since 2007, he’s built a reputation for raising leadership capacity in people in a variety of roles and industries based on the belief that everyone can demonstrate greater competency by embracing who they are with what they do. This means leveraging their strengths and confronting their opportunities for continual growth.
Prior to launching his own company, Mark spent 16 years in management positions with technology companies where he often witnessed inefficiency and dysfunction due to a lack of effective interpersonal communication and other soft skills. He holds a master’s degree in applied behavioral science from the Leadership Institute of Seattle and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
Mark’s book "Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace" is based on the extensive coaching and consulting work he has done using emotional intelligence to help his clients reach their full potential in the workplace.
He has also written literary short fiction for many years and "I Remember Clifford and Other Stories," is his first collection to be published in a book. He lives in Seattle with his family.
