Michael Hendricks

Michael Hendricks (1977-) was born in Dodge City, Kansas. He grew up in Oklahoma and Arkansas before spending part of his adult life in Nebraska, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. His father is a retired college professor and mother is a retired elementary teacher, He currently teaches 5th grade in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He wrote his first book while recovering from vision loss due to extreme migraines while he was researching the Confederacy. He is heavily influenced by history and it is present throughout his writing.
