Ajit Singh Dutta, originally from Jamshedpur, India, has lived and worked on four continents and currently lives in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. He built a successful financial management consulting company with several international offices. Ajit is a published poet. His poems in English have been anthologized and his translations of Urdu ghazals have been published in the Lunch Ticket. He has a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing/Nonfiction from UC/Riverside.
His latest book, A Lover’s Sigh, an anthology of Urdu poetry, is now available worldwide on Amazon. His upcoming books include "The Ring," a creative nonfiction account of a cross-cultural love affair, and "Independence," an account of a third-generation Sikh Ugandan expelled in 1972 from Kampala by Idi Amin along with 60,000 other Asians. The novel is an account of his fall from grace in London.
