Marianne Fehr

About the Author

Marianne Fehr has lived for more than 50 years without being aware of epilepsy. Ms Fehr has not considered Epilepsy as a hindrance to living a fully independent life. Marianne was raised in the country area of the prairies of southern Manitoba. This instilled in her a strong sense of independence. Marianne has never backed down from a challenge. Marianne has occasionally, yet seriously stated, “I’ll figure this out yet. I just need time. I’ll figure it out yet, you’ll see.” Due to her tenacity, Marianne achieves whatever she sets her mind to. Having this in mind and with specific encouragement Ms Fehr decided to write the Epilepsy Lessons for Independent Living series. Ms Fehr speaks from the heart and encourages others to remember that they are not alone and they can do something that they have been told they can’t.
