Born intersex and raised on a small family farm in the Upper Midwest Plains of the United States, I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University, with additional Master's Degrees in Philosophy/Religion from San Jose State University, Masters Degree in Music Education University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelors' Degree in Art - Studio Art from SouthWest Minnesota State University. I have worked in the social work field and am an artist since 1977 after breaking free from drugs and alcohol.
