Dr. Gabrie'l Atchison

Gabrie'l J. Atchison, Ph.D. has earned the degree of Master of Religion from Yale Divinity School with a concentration in Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS). Her doctorate is in Women's Studies and she has advanced degrees in African American Studies. Dr. Atchison teaches courses in Africana Studies, Gender Studies and Sociology, regularly as an adjunct professor; she has worked as an administrator for the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York and currently serves in the leadership of the Western New York Peace Center and the local chapter of the Union of Black Episcopalians.
