Dan Cremons has spent nearly two decades in private equity. Over time, he's worn every hat in the PE wardrobe - investor, board member, CEO, operator, and advisor. Along the way, he realized his greatest impact came not in deal-making, but in the sometimes overlooked value creation phase that follows.

As founder of Accelera Partners, Dan helps ambitious PE firms and their portfolio companies accelerate what he calls "people-powered value creation" - the art of defining a winning future, mapping the path to get there, and building the right team and culture to make it happen.

His 2022 bestseller, Winning Moves: 105 Proven Ways to Create Value in Private Equity-Backed Companies, has become the go-to playbook for value creation in the PE space. His earlier work, The Blue Flame (2021), focused on a simple idea that leaders of these companies can use to unlock more of their people's best performance. Now, in his latest book Intelligent Equity, Dan tackles private equity's next frontier: using AI to supercharge value creation.

When not helping PE firms navigate the Value Creation Era, Dan spends his time teaching at University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, enjoying endurance sports, kicking back on the nearest body of water, and chasing around his two young kids.
