Julia Parker

Julia runs popular workshops at home teaching people how to get the best from their patch however big or small, she has also written a blog for Leon Restaurants called Veg on the Ledge. Passionate about growing and eating healthily Julia also encourages the use of sustainable and recycled products as seed trays and pots.

As well as her workshops Julia visits local schools to talk about the fun of growing something easy and tasty from seed. Julia talks on Dig It BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey once a month about growing fruit and veg. Julia styled a greenhouse for Alitex in September 2021 for the RHS first Autumn Chelsea Flower Show, she showcased growing under glass using recycled and sustainable ideas, the trade stand was awarded five gold stars.

Julia has teamed up with Ghillie James to write The Little Grower's Cook book. This dynamic team first worked together on the Tesco Food Magazine and have relished teaming up again to write The Little Grower’s Cookbook to share their love of kids, nature, gardening and healthy eating.
