I am relatively new to writing. I'm currently focused on and enjoy writing short stories that offer a wide variety of scenarios, characters, imagination, and excitement. I work full time, am raising a family, and enjoying other hobbies and projects. In what little spare time I have I also work on my novel. I hope to motivate, educate, and inspire readers in preparing for all kinds of emergencies while also entertaining them. I want to offer rememberable characters, rich environments, and nail-biting catastrophes. My ultimate goal is to have fun with what I'm doing and provide you something that's worthy of your time and money. I always welcome feedback so feel free to PM me!

I am a proud father and grandfather from Washington State who has worked in the field of public safety for over 30 years. Born and raised on the west coast, I migrated from southern California to Washington State in 1994. I bring a unique but realistic perspective of what a major disaster or nationwide collapse would look like due decades of direct observation of human behavior and interactions with others during moments of personal and/or community crisis.

Although I've attended several FEMA courses, I'm a self-motivated scholar of emergency response, preparedness, and self-reliance projects. I'm also strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. As a former State and NRA certified firearms instructor, I emphasize the importance of maintaining the right to bear arms and encourage people to exercise their 2A rights in a safe and responsible manner through training and regular practice.

When I'm not reading or writing I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, camping, self-sufficiency projects, and emergency preparedness. I find the most joy in family activities that are both fun and educational, especially if they get me out of the house with the ones I love.
