Mark Birch

Mark is a startup founder, community builder, and author of Community-in-a-Box, based in NYC & Taipei. He is building TribeROI, an AI startup to help businesses measure the health and impact of their communities.

He was formerly the Global Startup Advocate at Amazon Web Services (AWS), helping startups across the world to build and scale on AWS. While there, he launched Founders in the Cloud, a newsletter read by over 7,000 subscribers about the startup journey. He also founded the Enterprise Sales Forum, a global community of 30,000 B2B salespeople to network, collaborate, learn, and find new opportunities.

Previously, Mark was at Stack Overflow to launch their Enterprise B2B Q&A platform and then expanded the business in APAC. Prior to Stack Overflow, he left Oracle to launch an Enterprise HR startup.

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. When not working, he likes to explore street food and can be seen rocking out to extreme metal.
