After heading back east for degrees in anthropology and engineering, both from Brown University, I returned to the rural west of my youth to build water systems and roads in Arizona and New Mexico before settling in Wyoming where I transitioned to stream restoration work as well as other gigs like teaching math, raising three kids, opening my town's first yoga studio back in the 90's, painting, and, now, writing. My goal is always the same: balancing our individual and collective nervous systems. I want even/especially my most unorthodox or light pieces of work to help us and our world flourish together.
