From Melody...
I'm mostly still that shy little girl in the 2nd grade... terrified of my own shadow and happiest with a pencil and paper. Now that I've passed my 40th year, a few things have changed, but not the pencil and paper.
I have dreamed many and varied dreams of what I wanted to be when I grew up and none of them have come true. But a marvelous truth about the Divine Architect is that He will allow your dreams to be dismantled in order to raise you to something better.
My life IS that something better.
Wife, mother, doula, author, speaker, chronic illness survivor and thriver, aromatherapist, fitness junky, business owner, home educator, dreamer, Jesus lover...
There's nothing really missing. But some of my dreams have evolved and consequently, I find myself writing more frequently, more purposefully, and more passionately. Time is short. I intend to invest deeply.
