I write contemporary domestic suspense that reveals how families who avoid conflict find the confidence to voice their opinions and fulfill their dreams. In my stories, it’s all about imperfect people finding unconditional love.

Following a lifelong dream to become a published author wasn’t an easy decision. It wasn’t until I joined the Vancouver Island Romance Authors group that I began to toss aside the self-doubts that had always assailed me. Their encouragement, recommendations, and support started my tenacious journey to learn the craft of writing. I’m constantly reading and studying material to grow as an author, and I’ve seldom been happier. I’m excited to be on the brink of a new career and hope you’ll enjoy my novels.

I live in a seaside town on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. I use my deep appreciation of every part of my island home for the background in my stories. I feel a spiritual connection whenever I’m near a body of water. Nature puts everything in perspective, and all my doubts and worries float away. Even if a storm’s strength frightens me, it also reminds me that—no matter what—all things pass. I’m blessed with many friends and family, including my husband, two grown children, a grandson, a stepdaughter and her family.
