Catherine Gates

Catherine Gates’ passion is helping others realize how they can overcome obstacles, learn from adversity and grow as leaders. She does this through teaching, speaking, mentoring and writing. Her vulnerability and authenticity help her to connect powerfully with those she serves.

Catherine is Executive Director of Women in the Marketplace, a nonprofit organization that equips working women to confidently pursue their faith and career for the glory of God. Catherine has a diverse background in technology, training, non-profit management, sales training and coaching, writing and instructional design. Her wide breadth of experience helps her to relate to and serve people in a broad range of circumstances.

Catherine has written and contributed to several workplace leadership Bible studies and devotionals including Workmatters' Lead Courageously, Maximize Your Influence, Raise the Bar on Integrity and Honor Others with Love. She was one of the original founders of Christian Women in the Workplace, a grassroots organization serving women in Northwest Arkansas. She is on the board of Ladies of Grace, a women’s prison ministry, and on the executive advisory council of the Women’s Empowerment Center.

Originally from Long Island, NY, Catherine lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband Thomas and she has one adult son. Her mission is to equip Christian women to reach more of their God-given potential.
