Ron Price

Ron Price was born and raised in East Texas. He has an Engineering Degree and a MBA. During his professional career, he traveled throughout the country and the world. During those times that he wasn't working, Ron has served as a church usher, Sunday School teacher, softball coach, basketball coach and community volunteer. He has always had an intensive interest in the past, particularly Texas and US history. He also has given considerable thought of the future the growth and development of children.

Ron has been an avid genealogist for more than 20 years. This endeavor has provided him the opportunity to explore both the past and contemplate the future. It is said that an author should write about what they know. Ron has taken this advice to heart. His first books were historical fiction written about predecessors in both his and his wife's family tree. Then he had the honor of completing a manuscript that a brother in law started but died before finishing. Since it was a story about women's basketball set in the 70's, the content was of considerable interest given that Ron had coached his talented basketball playing daughter and watched her excel in high school and college. His latest efforts have been children's books pulled from the experiences of knowing so many wonderful great-nieces, nieces, great-nephews and nephews.

The journey is certain to continue. There was so many stories that should be told.
