Lucy Lipari

LUCY LIPARI was born in Germany and raised in Canada. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts degree, where she studied English literature. Lucy moved to the United States in her early 20's, went to Harvard University, and received a Master of Arts degree from New York University. She has travelled to many countries around the world. Her hobbies include traveling cross-country in her RV, bicycling, boating, motorcycles, photography and painting in oil and acrylics. Lucy has published many articles in the Canadian press. She met her husband, Richard, in New York City, and he is the love of her life. Together they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Co-author RICHARD LIPARI is an adventurer and world traveller. He served in the United States Army and Reserves, and is a retired decorated New York City Firefighter (FDNY). Richard wrote news articles for WNYF, the Firefighter's magazine. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Richard is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and CUNY Graduate Center in New York City. His hobbies range from flying a plane to riding motorcycles. He is also an accomplished artist, as well as a passionate cook, specializing in Sicilian and Italian food.
