DCR James

DCR James is a writer and poet from London, UK.

His published works include a successful series of educational history books on the first and second world war, published by Franklin Watts. He has also published 3 books under Santé Books - "The Artist's Guide to NOT growing up", "Love and other stories" and most recently, "The Adventures of Bearwolf."

He studied English Literature at Oxford University and the Creative Writing MA at UEA where he won awards for playwriting and he has had 7 of his plays produced in London, Edinburgh and Oxford.

After university he had a song in the UK charts, formed a band and played gigs at Glastonbury, Scala and the Houses of Parliament, before going on to teach songwriting in workshops to young people, prisoners and detainees in immigration centres.

His favourite saying is "The process is the product".
