John Michaelis

John is an expert in the practical aspects of using AI and an experienced business consultant.

He is an active angel investor and board advisor for early stage AI companies, with interests in Fintech, Med-tech and Marketing. John was the founding shareholder of Aurora, which became the market leader in AI solutions for the air sector, before a successful exit.

John led his own consultancy business for two decades, operating in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, West Asia and the USA. He had the privilege to lead some of the most complex and challenging global business change programs in the Telecoms, Technology and Banking sectors.

John has had the ultimate portfolio career: as well as working in his own companies he has worked for global organisations and SMEs in a range of roles including sales, business development, commercial and operations.

Subsequent to the sale of Aurora, John is pursuing his passion for the application of leading-edge technology to solve some of society’s and business’s “hard problems.”
