I am a writer. Unfortunately, it seems to be more of a diagnosis than a career plan.

“I’m so very sorry to have to tell you this, Mrs. Collis, but your baby appears to be a writer. No, there’s nothing we can do, I’m afraid. But at least you’ll never be bored again…”

Did you prefer “I AM FURY” or “DRAGON SPAWNED”? I hope that the answer is “DRAGON SPAWNED” because I’m writing the sequel at the moment.

I live in London, not far from Nana Kat. I have a grown-up son and a long-suffering husband. I have been sober in recovery for over twenty five years. Tea is my last remaining addiction and I refuse to give it up. No-one ever stole their grandma’s wedding ring to pay for their next Earl Grey.

I also work as a freelance translator (French to English), I run a tiny but very supportive writers’ circle in London, and I really should be writing.
