J.H. Ramsay

Jonathan Heller Ramsay is a beekeeper, sailor, and writer living in New Jersey. He has degrees in literature from the University of St Andrews and the University of Edinburgh, as well as a Master Beekeeping certificate from Dyce Laboratories at Cornell University. Ramsay has been published by AE: The Canadian Science Fiction Review and Andromeda Spaceways Magazine.

Ramsay has a fascination with eusocial insects and swarming behavior. He has been influenced by Adrian Tchaikovsky, Octavia E. Butler, Philip K. Dick, Jeff VanderMeer, China Miéville, N.K. Jemisin, and Ursula K. Le Guin, among many other great writers of science fiction and the fantastic.
