When people think of accounting, one of the first words that comes to mind is - BORING! I have been performing forensic accounting for over 35 years, and believe me, it is anything but! Think of being a detective at a crime scene. You are piecing together clues, trying to get inside the mind of the criminal, and gather enough evidence to prove your case in court. The only difference with forensic accounting is your crime scene is at a company and your evidence generally comes from its books and records. Each case possessing elements of possible fraud, corporate deceit, and most importantly $$$.

I have investigated hundreds of companies and have testified as an expert witness in many of these cases. This has provided me with a plethora of ideas for my novels. Follow the trials and tribulations of my protagonist - Mike Stanton, a forensic accountant who has a penchant for getting involved in some very high profile corporate investigations. Throw in some murder, sex, and betrayal, then you have the general theme for most of my novels.

After all, "Who Said Accounting Was Boring?"
