Patrice Augustus-Brown

Patrice Augustus is a mother, educator and children’s book author, born and raised in London to Jamaican and Nigerian parents. She is passionate about supporting and empowering young people.

Growing up, she was always the ‘bossy’ child, who would role play with her cousins and pretend to be a teacher. Her skill set was shaped from a young age which influenced the career path she chose later on in life as a teacher and currently Special Educational Needs Coordinator.

When she is not advocating for children with additional needs and their families,

you can find her on mummy duty to her three wonderful children, two boys and a girl. She is also a certified foodie and loves dabbling in the kitchen as well as reading and travelling.

Patrice is dedicated to creating stories that inspire young minds to dream big and believe in themselves. Through her writing, she aims to create characters that children can see themselves in—characters who are curious, determined, and confident in their ability to achieve their dreams.
