Vera E. Valentine

Vera E. Valentine was born in the historical and picturesque state of New Hampshire. The E stands for Erica, her given name. She began writing in her teenage angst years, after falling in love with the poet Emily Dickinson in fifth period English Literature class. After a cycle of toxic relationships, she began taking up her old poetry habit and started writing under the name Vera Valentine in 2014. Beyond poetry, she loves writing fantasy, supernatural horror and crime and mystery. She has a love for all things magical and can find the beauty in sadness, a super power of hers. She currently resides in the beautiful state of Colorado with her children, sister cats and defiant dog.
