Melissa Nackovski

Melissa Nackovski is a first-generation Vietnamese-American from San Jose, California. She now resides in the South of Sweden with her husband and son.

Melissa enjoys creating stories and sharing experiences. She writes stories that have educational elements as well deep meaningful lessons. Her first published children's picture book, Sunny & Moony, was written during and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to reassure children that they will be reunited with their loved ones and that reunions can be magical.

Sunny & Moony was the recipient of the Royal Dragonfly Book Awards 2020 for Excellence in Literature – Picture Book 5 Years & Younger (Story Monsters LLC).

Melissa is working on her second children's picture book manuscript.
