James Edward Alexander

James Edward Alexander is a man of many talents. Following an extensive and distinguished military career that began when he was seventeen years of age, James set out to achieve a long-thought-about personal goal. At age 52, he returned to the classroom at Whittier Law School and followed through by completing the California Bar Exam on his initial attempt at age 56. He was a partner in the law firm of Adams and Alexander, with offices in Pasadena and Beverly Hills. He is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals (Ninth Circuit), United States District Court (Central District of California), and the State Bar of California.

Today, he lives in semi-retirement in Bluffton, South Carolina and spends his free time writing essays, short stories and memoir books about the things he has learned and loved.
