My name is Jim Ford (J R Ford) I currently have 2 books online right now, "Oh, That Cat!" which is the 1st book in a series of 5 About a cat named "That" who vanishes leaving her owner to find where she is with the help of her friends and familiy. This book I wrote for my daughter when she was very young maybe 5 or 6 (now 18)and I finally found an illustrator I liked, to do the drawings and to get it published. Book two in that series is currently at the illustration stage and will be called "What, In the World! My illustrator Jill Davy, and I started our own business Jillybeancreationsllc.com and publish our own books.

My second book is just being released called "Dave - A Monarchs Tale" Dave the caterpillar, tells us about his life and turning into a monarch butterfly. This book is special, I wrote the story while fishing in Northern Michigan while watching the Monarch migration. This will be a series of 5 insect books and all will be about some of the interesting insects I like, book two in that series is currently at the illustration stage as well and will be called The Tale of Stick leg Willy. Willy is a walking stick bug, book 3 will be "Mr. Stinkbug Plays Hide and Seek. I will be illustrating this series myself.

I have always wanted to write children's books and started after I retired from the Air Force in 2014, It brings me great joy when a child tells me they loved my book.
