Jane Singhal

Jane Singhal is a violinist and violin instructor from Belmont, CA.

She is the author of the books Red Light, Stop! and Creature Feature-A Musical Menagerie, which grew out of her years teaching music and composition to children. Red Light, Stop! is based on a movement song written for her youngest students, whose usual response when they acted it out in class was, "Again!" Kitchen Concert is from her own experience cooking and singing at the same time.

Jane and her husband live twenty minutes away from the exuberant California Pacific, the source of inspiration for The Jolly Ocean.
