Paul Garner

Paul is sixty two and has been married to his wife Dawn for forty one years, he has two sons, two daughters in law, and four beautiful grandchildren.

Paul started his working career at sixteen as an apprentice joiner, and continued in the building trade with his own business, until October 2019.

Paul became a Christian in 1991 and moved very quickly into ministry, where from 1993-2019 he pastored the Beacon Christian Centre in Loughborough, Leicestershire, gaining full ministerial status with the Assemblies of God in 2002. In 2008 Paul retrained as a Person-Centred Counsellor, and worked part time in private practice, continuing with his studies to become a clinical supervisor. In January 2020, he made counselling his main focus, and is now working full time counselling, mentoring and delivering training programmes.

Pauls hobbies are being creative on his wood lathe and the occasional game of golf, but he loves day trips out with Dawn on their motor bike.
