Kathi Burg

Kathi Burg loves to create things — with words and wool —and who knows what's to come. She takes pleasure in “small” things: quiet moments, gentle sayings, small worlds, cozy corners, creatures of all kinds, fantastical stories, and the extraordinary in the everyday. And at the root of it all is her love for God, which she hopes comes through in everything she creates.

She's written a book called A Little Book of Poetry: For When Night Seems Dark, a collection of poems offering comfort, hope, and encouragement. It’s for anyone who needs a reminder of God’s presence and is seeking hope in the midst of life’s challenges.

Kathi's poetry has also appeared in Poems Inspired by Robert Frost and Flee to Spring — both Wingless Dreamer publications. Her flash fiction has been published by Haunted Waters Press.

She enjoys using words to touch the heart, stir the imagination, and kindle joy. She loves writing about small places and true-to-life characters, and if something she writes makes someone feel joy or less alone, she's thankful.
