J Larry Simpson I

J. Larry Simpson, I author of "No Excuses The True Life Adventures of a Little Trailer Boy" lived and made the stories of his book, soul stirring. He traveled as the oldest child of four across America with his parents and three siblings. Living in a trailer, upgraded to one fifty foot long, Walker his Dad, pulled the trailer with his "53 Ford Truck.

Beginning in 1951 the family settled finally in 1961. Living in 10! states, going to 15! schools, in 24! moves, Larry, unafraid and self-confident created adventures wherever he lived.

"I had to tell my story because if anyone had excuses to fail, it was me! But, I was blessed to make the best of it all. Besides I loved my life and all of it's 'showdowns' ".

"America needs my book", I often say because of the 'dark' nature of most books and the unsettled times.

Graduating from Memphis State University with a Bachelor's Degree in 'political science' and a 'secondary education, and earning a Master's in Theology Larry has been a pastor 57 years. Also working in the business world and an avid horseman he is suited to write "No Excuses". I live in North Georgia with my beautiful wife Sandy.
