Steve Karlen

Steve Karlen is the campaign director at 40 Days for Life. After Steve helped lead a statewide coalition that prevented the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics from opening a late-term abortion facility near the campus of his alma mater, Steve was asked to serve on the 40 Days for Life headquarters team. In this role, Steve has helped spread the 40 Days for Life mission across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Steve is the editor of Day 41 magazine and the co-host of the 40 Days for Life Podcast. He has spoken in all fifty states, four Canadian provinces, and Mexico City. Steve and his work have been featured on American Family Radio, EWTN, the Christian Broadcasting Network, NBC, CBS, and Fox affiliates, as well as numerous newspapers and radio stations.

Steve lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his wife Laura and their five children.
