S. S. Duskey

S.S. Duskey retired from law enforcement with over 20 years of experience. She resides in the Bitterroot Mountains of Montana with her husband, Steve, and fur babies, Essie and Lilly. Sharon's inspirations for writing are her late canine companions, Saki and Rose, not to mention her adventures throughout her career.

Sharon has been asked how she draws inspiration for her characters. The answer is simple: dogs, dogs, dogs. Her dogs, friends’ dogs, heck, even ones she's just met. And like any dog lover, she wanted to pay homage to her two original fur babies, Saki and Rose. So, instead of writing about her devoted K-9 companions, she brings them to the human world by creating characters drawn from their unique furry personalities.

Sharon’s earlier works include The Rose O’Brien Trilogy: Book One—Secrets in the Keys, Book Two—Deception in the Bitterroot, and Book Three—Redemption in the Tahoe Basin.
