Bianca C. Ross is an author, co-writer, and ghost writer of children's books and memoirs.
After a 20+ year international career in advertising and marketing (Coca Cola, Nestlé, WPP) Bianca saw a serious disconnect between children and their knowledge of where food comes from. Rather than feeling sad about it, she decided to take action and created and published the Herbert Peabody children's book series which is now read by children worldwide.
Farmer Herbie shares the magic of growing food with his veggie patch stories, raps and rhymes. Together with his niece Clementine and nephew Digby, Herbie helps children learn all about fruit and vegetables in a fun and engaging way as well as important lessons about sustainability and community.
There are seven Herbert Peabody books for children aged two to four years and five to seven years, and Herbert Peabody's chapter books were selected for the Lions International Australian Literacy Program.
Bianca visits kindergartens and schools for in-person and Zoom visits. You can book a reading for your child's kindergarten or school via the Herbert Peabody website. Plus, you will find free and fun activities for children. Herbie lives on Mulberry Tree Farm. Bianca lives in Melbourne, Australia.
In her other work, Bianca is published by Simon & Schuster (August 2023) with Belinda Chapple for Belinda's memoir, The Girl In The Band.
