Carol J. Cooper decided that after she retired from teaching kindergarten for over 3 decades, she would write children’s books. Her creative ideas come from life experiences that she has been blessed with, putting into expressive words the images she pictures in her mind, as well as the emotions and feelings in her heart.
Carol also incorporates lesson and curriculum topics that young children learn in school and can easily identify with. She gets great enjoyment in traveling to the local schools and libraries and sharing her books with young readers in a very fun and interactive manner.
When she is not writing, Carol enjoys traveling the beautiful, winding hills and exploring pristine crystal clear lakes and streams of the Ozarks. She is mesmerized by the animals and nature that surrounds her, as well as enjoys her menagerie of beloved pets in her home. For several years, Carol also raised monarch butterflies from tiny eggs, which will be the topic in one of her forthcoming books. But her greatest joy are her two grandchildren, to whom her books are dedicated with much love!
