Laura Stroud is a writer.

As the chief storyteller at www.storiesfromabackpack.com, she encourages fellow storytellers to live a life worth writing about. When Laura isn’t telling stories, she is teaching creative writing courses at www.derbyshirewritingschool.com. 


Laura is also writing her first series of fiction novels based on her years of backpacking and travelling through Southeast Asia.

Laura lives in the Peak District with her husband, she loves long walks, a big glass of wine and a good book!
