Wendy Colón Nieves

Wendy Colón Nieves (1966) was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She holds a Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Seminary in Indianna, where she is pursuing a Doctorate. In addition to her master's degree in education, she has been a teacher for more than twenty-one years, where she began writing books on plants and designs, such as “Plantas y Jardines de Puerto Rico” (1999). Inspired by her life experiences she wrote “Definitivamente ciega...” in an eclectic style (2012). She has written in magazines, newspapers, and some websites.

Her experience with people from many countries has led her to write her book, “God with Us”, a journey with many women who live daily the experience of a God who accompanies them and helps them in everything.

She has also written short novels and short stories, in some cases inspired by real life. One of her latest contributions to literature is the testimony of her experience in the midst of the disease that afflicts many, cancer. And her latest book Anécdotas de mi Camino Misionero takes everyone to travel with her in the adventures of her missionary work, but sharing mishaps, humorous situations, but all with a learning from the hand of God.
