Nancy Howe

Nancy Howe is a fourth-generation teacher with 35 years of experience as an independent tutor in Dallas, Texas, on private and public-school campuses, in students’ homes, and in the Nancy Howe Tutoring offices there. She has tutored pre-school, lower, middle, and upper school students as well as adults, all focused on helping her students discover their most efficient ways to learn. Her career as an educator has included academic advising, consulting for parenting groups, leading teacher workshops, and conducting time and materials management seminars.

She has served as a clinical researcher in a grant program under the auspices of a university medical school’s Children’s Hospital, which explored new ways of parenting children with Attention Deficit Disorder. Before moving to Dallas with her husband and two daughters, she taught in Florida and Connecticut colleges.
