Blessed with a talent to eat mostly anything, and generally equipped with a Good Beer Guide and a girly scarf, Nick Dawes lives in Lincoln in the East Midlands region of the UK. Having worked in Local Government for 35 years, Nick retired to travel and write the books he’s had on the backburner for years. Beyond a bit of a food obsession, he loves old cars and bicycles, enjoys photographing graffiti and can generally turn his hand to anything, well, sort of. Nick's first book - Calling the Fat Pillock's Bluff, follows an unfit bloke in his 40's cycling Britain on a £25 bike with his pal. With no support crew and Nick's lack of preparation, it's a laugh out loud read to inspire you to jump on your own bike.
